A Step-by-Step Guide to Authenticate Your Domain and Integrate Campaigner with Warmy for Optimal Email Deliverability and Campaign Success
Domain Authentication
Campaigner is a powerful tool that enables businesses to easily create, send, and manage email campaigns. With features designed to boost customer engagement and drive sales, it’s a great choice for companies of all sizes.
To begin with Campaigner, connect your business email account (e.g., smtptest@warmy.io). As of February 1, 2024, major providers require that the sending domain be SPF and DKIM aligned. In Campaigner, if your emails are not authenticated, they will appear as shown in the screenshot below.
This indicates that DMARC is failing because DKIM is not aligned, which can affect email deliverability. To prevent this, Campaigner provides SPF and DKIM records that should be added to your DNS settings.
Key Authentication Settings
-
SPF Record:
- Record Type: TXT
- Content/Value: v=spf1 include:_spf.emailcampaigns.net -all
-
DKIM Record:
- Record Type: CNAME
- Host Name: em._domainkey.yourdomain.com
- Content/Value: dkim.emailcampaigns.net
If you’re using GoDaddy, set up the DKIM record as follows:
- Record Type: CNAME
- Host Name: em._domainkey (your domain is assumed)
- Content/Value: dkim.emailcampaigns.net
Important Note! After making these changes, please email support@campaigner.com. The support team will verify and mirror your settings to complete the setup. This step is crucial, as, without confirmation, the SPF and DKIM records won’t align, causing DMARC to fail, which can negatively impact email deliverability. After evaluation from the support team, your emails will be authenticated and aligned.
