Understanding Warmy's Email Alert System: Keeping Your Deliverability on Track
What Are Warmy Email Alerts? π¨
Warmy Alerts are real-time system notifications that inform you about potential issues affecting your email warm-up or overall deliverability. These alerts are designed to keep your reputation intact, your sending consistent, and your setup optimized β all without needing to dig into the details yourself.
Why Are Alerts Important? π’
Warmy Alerts help you:
-
β Identify blocks or rejections from Gmail, Outlook, MS365, and G Suite.
-
π Automatically pause sending when needed to avoid further issues.
-
π οΈ Receive step-by-step instructions to fix problems on your own.
-
π Improve domain health and maintain strong deliverability.
Where to Find Alerts π
You can find all active alerts under the Alerts tab directly from the Domain Hub.
You'll see red indicators if any mailbox or domain needs your attention. Once you review the alert, the red icon will disappear β even if you choose to act later.
Types of Alerts π

1. "Unblock mailbox from reject by providers" π
This alert appears when a provider like Gmail, Outlook, Gsuite, or MS365 rejects your emails due to issues such as:
-
Low sender reputation
-
Reaching sending limits
-
Spam complaints or blacklisting
What Happens:
-
Sending to that provider is paused to protect your reputation.
-
You'll see a list of Required and Optional actions.
-
Once required actions are confirmed, the system starts a timed unblocking process (e.g., 30 days for Gmail).
-
During the check period, Warmy tests delivery with internal mailboxes.
-
If successful, send resumes automatically.
2. "We cannot track your emails" βπ¬
This alert means emails are being sent, but Warmy can't detect them in the recipients' inboxes. That means:
-
Emails canβt be marked as important
-
Movement from spam folders canβt be tracked
-
Open/reply metrics may be inaccurate
Common Causes:
-
Your mail server is stripping or modifying tracking headers
-
Message ID is being changed during sending
How to Fix:
You'll be prompted to select one of two options:
-
Proxy required headers (like Origin-Message-ID)
-
Don't modify the Message-ID during delivery
After selecting and confirming, Warmy will check again within 24 hours and update the alert status.
If tracking still fails, support will help you sort it out
How the Alert System Works βοΈ
-
Alerts trigger automatically based on system analysis.
-
You receive actionable guidance β no guesswork.
-
You can postpone or take immediate action.
-
Sending pauses (if needed) happens automatically.
Once an issue is resolved, the alert will show as Completed, and a message like "All good! No issues or alerts β everything is running smoothly" will appear in the Alerts tab.
Example Scenarios π οΈ
-
If Gmail rejects emails due to reputation issues, Warmy will notify you and temporarily stop sending emails to Gmail.
-
If Outlook blocks emails due to an IP issue, an alert will be displayed with instructions on what to do.
Advanced Tip: API Access for Power Users π§βπ»
Warmy Alerts can also be managed via API:
-
Fetch your alerts:
GET /api/v2/warmup_alerts
-
Confirm actions:
PUT /api/v2/warmup_alerts/{alert_id}
This is useful for teams that integrate Warmy with internal dashboards or automation flows. More detailed information about working with alerts via API can be found here: API documentation.
