To connect your GMX mailbox to Warmy, you'll need to enable two-factor authentication (2FA), allow POP3/IMAP access, and create an application-specific password. Follow the steps below to set up your mailbox. #### Step 1. Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) 1. Select **Security Options**. 3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup. #### Step 2. Enable POP3/IMAP access 1. Create an application-specific password 1. Click the **profile icon** in the top-right corner and select **Security Options**. 2. Click **Create new application-specific password**. 4. Enter a name (e.g., **Warmy**) and click **Continue**. 5. Copy the generated password. **Important:** GMX displays the application-specific password only once. Save it securely. You'll need to use it instead of your regular GMX password when connecting your mailbox to Warmy. #### Step 4. Connect your GMX mailbox to Warmy 1. Go to **Mailboxes** in Warmy and click **Connect** to open the **Connect a mailbox** window. 2. Find **GMX** in the provider list and select it. You can also type `gmx` in the search bar to find it faster. 3. Fill in the connection form: - **Email address:** Enter your full GMX email address. - **App password:** Enter the application-specific password created in Step 3. Click **Connect** to add your mailbox, or **Connect & Add New Mailbox** to add it and start connecting another one. If the connection fails, an error message will appear at the top of the form explaining the issue.
