How to connect Mailchimp to Warmy?

This guide walks you through the exact steps to successfully connect a Mailchimp account to your Warmy dashboard.                                                                                                                                    🎧  Prefer to listen? 1.Initiate the connection in Warmy:

On your Warmy dashboard, click + Add Sender to connect a mailbox. On the connection page, select Custom SMTP from the provider's list.

2.Access Mailchimp transactional settings:

In your Mailchimp account, go to Automations and select Transactional. Click Launch app in the top right corner.

3.Verify your sending domain:

Click on Settings, navigate to Domains and numbers, and select Email sending domain. Ensure that the domain you will use to send emails is fully verified on this page.

4.Generate a Mailchimp API key:

Navigate to the SMTP and API info tab and click + Create API Key. Enter a name for the key and click Create API Key. Copy the generated password, as it will serve as your mailbox password in Warmy.

5.Enter mailbox credentials in Warmy:

Return to the Warmy mailbox connection page. Enter the email address you want to connect and provide a Send from name. Paste the Mailchimp API key you just copied into the Password field.

6.Configure SMTP settings:

Retrieve the SMTP host and port from your Mailchimp SMTP and API info tab. Enter these details into the corresponding SMTP settings fields on the Warmy connection page.

7.Disable IMAP and connect:Critical: Mailchimp does not support IMAP connections.

Turn off the IMAP toggle on the Warmy connection page. Once disabled, click Connect to finalize the setup.
